What do I need to pack?

Light clothes for a tropical climate but also a light jumper and/or a jacket (it can get cool especially up at the volcano). Also, a personal first aid kit is highly recommended.  

 

Is there any where to eat and drink in the Village?

Yes, there are a few places. Chez Leah and Sarah's café both have great local Tanna coffee and traditional meals. There is also a restaurant and the Volcano Bar at Sea Breeze, located on the beach where you can have a relaxing beer or cocktail, made from local fruits while you watch the waves crashing on the white sand beach.

 

How to Get to Sea Breeze?

Tanna Island is a short 45-minute flight from Port Villa to Lenekal. Once landed, it’s about a 2-hour four-wheel drive journey south-east through traditional villages and jungle that eventually pass the impressive volcano, Mount Yasur. A truck makes a return trip on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from Port Resolution to Lenekal (2000VT), otherwise organise a charter.

 

How far is Port Resolution from the Mount Yasur?

Port Resolution is 8km from the volcano entrance.

 

Do I require cash and if so what is recommended?

Tanna Island only trades in cash so make sure to get cash out it Port Villa before coming to the island.
